LATE ENTRIES: A $20 late fee will be assessed for any entry postmarked after the deadline. Deadlines for all events are one week prior to the date of the event. Payment after the deadline must be cash or banker’s check, no exceptions.
TEAMS: Teams consist of two anglers fishing together in one boat. Teams who have registered for and/or fish one entire division and are accumulating points to qualify for the championship are allowed one partner substitution per year to maintain their team status in the standings. If your regular partner misses more than one tournament and you have used your one substitute, you must contact the Tournament Director asap. Substitutes and fishing alone must be approved in advance by the Tournament Director. Requests must be put in writing. You may fish in more than one division. Substitutes do not have to pay membership dues unless they substitute for more than one tournament on different teams. Substitutions are not allowed unless you are pre-registered for all tournaments in a division.
TAKE OFF PROCEDURES:
- Please get in line when you get on the water. Boat numbers will be called quickly. If you are not in line you will be skipped.
- You must drive your boat within 20 feet of the start boat before you take off and wait fifty feet before you go on plane. If you do not do this you may be held back to the end.
- Make sure you display your boat number as you pass the start boat.
WEIGH IN PROCEDURES:
- You may trailer your boat unless otherwise indicated by the Tournament Director. However, this should not delay the start of the weigh-in. We do not want fish out of their natural waters any longer than necessary.
- Weigh-in will begin approximately 5-7 minutes after check in time. This gives our staff time to make sure all boats are accounted for and on time.
- You must turn in your boat number to the tournament staff holding the American Flag as soon as you check in. Do not turn in your number to the tub or scale staff. If you don't turn in your number to the check in staff you may be considered late. This is our way of making sure that all boats have returned to the launch site safely.
- Please do not talk to the person recording the weights during or after the weigh-in or ask questions regarding standings. Everyone wants accurate weights recorded.
- Use only CT Outdoors black bags to carry your fish from your boat to the scales. There are only a limited number of bags available so as to prevent a line at the tub and endanger the fish.
- Both partners must come up to the scales to weigh their fish. Tournament staff will not weigh in fish unless both partners are present to verify the weight recorded on the scale by the Tournament Director.
- You may ask the Tournament Director to recheck your weight before your fish are removed from the scale baskets. However, the Tournament Director will make the final determination of weight.
DECISIONS OF THE TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR ARE FINAL.
